As a plump 12-year old with overweight aunts, I recognized a strong familial tendency to gain weight. With The Teenage Diet Book in hand and a ‘health spa’ membership, I lost my adolescent chubbiness and arrived in eighth grade a new kid. Since then, I'm vested in lifelong priorities of health, vegetarian nutrition and physical activity.
Personally, these include 10 years of near-competitive weight lifting, 15 years as a group fitness teacher, and teaching yoga since 2000. I am dedicated to partnering with you as you embark upon a journey of lifestyle modification and behavioral change.
